Antimony is not an element on the periodic table I am familiar with. I will be honest- I can’t even pronounce it correctly! However, when I saw a big flashing alert on my Bloomberg terminal with the words "China export controls", I knew I had to pay attention.

What follows is a trade write-up of this breaking news trade.

After some recent hardships and mistakes that have all been voiced in this newsletter, it was nice to get stuck into a catalyst of this magnitude. Going deep on a previous write-up in SYR enabled me to better frame this trade.
