The dust has settled from the Australian reporting season and it is time to take a breath.
With so much volatility during this stage of the year, it is almost inevitable to feel overwhelmed and fatigued. It is very easy to use hindsight and to experience disappointment against the opportunity set.
The truth is you are NOT going to catch every move. Mistakes will happen, and you will get served some bad luck. It comes with the territory.
I think it is important to spend time post the event in true reflection. This corner of the calendar will come around again so best get prepared. Some questions to frame:
-What did I do well?
-What were the shortcomings?
-What do I need to build for next time?
