Looking forward to reading your 2024 goals. Was interested to read in your 2022 review the impact of having little ones on your business. A very worthwhile exercise for sure! If you're not factoring in a larger impact on your time in the future (at least until they don't want to know you anymore at 15 haha) then my advice would be you should :) Perhaps less so in terms of sleep, but the time in being involved in what they're doing etc

Brad- thanks for reading and the comments. I agree having kids is a big disruption to the routine. It then all becomes about priorities and highest impact habits. It’s all worth it but just a real transition. How many do you have? How did you manage re work?

Thanks for replying Austin. I have 3 lads, from 15 to 21 now. My circumstance is \ was a little different to yours as I started trading when they were primary school aged; so I don't have any lived experience with really young ones. That said, the main thing I do even today is incorporate their calendars into my trading calendar each week. Where possible stuff is scheduled to sit outside prime trading time, where not possible I look to filter out what playbook trades are taken for the day. Obviously breaking news is near impossible to proactively manage, but given they were a bit older when I started I tried to involve them as much as possible - "Hey guys, there's been a flood in America which is sad for those people in it, but can we go and kick the footy a bit later because dad needs to watch QBE insurance" etc :)
