Thanks a lot for this Austin. You mentioned that short setups on expected news and large gaps are not working as well currently. Would you consider that as variance and still take those setups in the current environment or would you be pausing that playbook until the conditions are accomodating for it?

The point was: be guarded chasing big gaps down where the market is already pricing a magnitude of the news event and the news has been out there for hours.

Certainly a certain amount of losses gives me reason to pause/be smaller in a playbook as a discretionary trader

Hi mate I related to these two points really strongly so thanks for sharing:

- Performance is about executing simple things consistently

- Reflection is a form of deliberate practice

I tend to drift from my process from time to time and love reminders like this. You mentioned building a database of screen recordings - is that video recordings or static screenshots?
