great post. would love to see something in the future on pm planning process, ie how you lay out context for in play name, how you grade it, how you size accordingly.
Sure that would make for a good post. Essentially it is entering a stock in the middle of a range versus trading the breaks. Latter is going with flow and with momentum now. Former is stuck within cross flows and may/may not break
Pretty solid performance! Very few red days there!
What's does EPS stand for on your strategy?
And what are you using to log your trades? I am using the Someka template in excel currently.
I had some good results this QTR with short tem holdings being the main driver of performance. I will have to define parameters way better next quarter though.
You point of not holding small reds in D1 just because is simple and efficient! I will take it onboard!
So easy to change an initial intraday trade that did not work into o/n hold for no real justifiable edge.
Thanks for sharing so valuable for everyone who wants to improve and is willing to put the effort.
Thanks Luis. EPS = earnings per share. New news = revisions. I log my trades via Tradervue. I will be releasing software next week for traders in Australia to access
Sizing - massive one for me. Complacency also. I will grinde , grinde , grinde, relax, get lazy with a daily prep etc take on suboptimal , impulsive trades - take a big hit.
Appreciate your write ups. I liked the phrasing about falling to your systems vs rising to your goals, and then your description of efforts to improve your systems
Thanks for sharing performance in such detail Austin. Awesome to see that level of consistency even as things have quietened down post Feb. Shows me that there are still adequate opportunities out there to trade and that any underperformance on my part is due to issues with my own trading/execution and encourages me to keep working at things.
Thanks Connor. It may not necessarily be issues with your trading but that your trading is just singularly focused on one edge eg news. Learning other strategies from others is important to diversify and grow. Small and build. This comes after you have owned your best playbook though
Think my repl belonged here (subsatck novice - sorry).

Thanks Austin love to read these!
Thank you

Thanks Ross but I can’t take credit there. That is a James Clear special

And cannot use a keyboard obviously.
I am pleased there are areas of value you can implement into your own trading. This was the goal
This is a great post!
